Dwarf Fortress 0.31.25 Released
Version 0.31.25 of Tarn and Zach Adams Dwarf Fortress, or as its more affectionately known, Dorf Fortress, hit the Bay12 Games forums today.
While not adding much more than a new attack for red dragons, the new release fixed several in-game crashes that would occur with various bugs present. With those ironed out, players are sure to enjoy less interruptions for this great game.
For those unfortunate enough to not be familiar with Dwarf Fortress, it is sort of a niche cult-classic. One of the great things about this game: it's completely free. Creators Zach and Tarn Adams describe their game as such:
"The long-term goal is to create a fantasy world simulator in which it is possible to take part in a rich history, occupying a variety of roles through the course of several games. Dwarf Fortress has been in development on-and-off since 2002 and consistently since 2006."
Dwarf Fortress encompasses a world-generator, a sandbox Fortress-builder, and a sandbox Adventure Mode.
While the learning curve for such a broad game is quite steep, given the game's entirely ASCII-based graphics and solely keyboard reliant interface, Dwarf Fortress is an interesting and rewarding game for those with the drive and patience to master this devilishly fun experience.
The game is available for free download here:

New Grey Knights Codex Cover
So unless its some sort of April fool's joke, the new Codex for Warhammer 40,000's Grey Knights is supposedly going to come out within the next couple of months. While many players are hesitant, given the trend of Codex written by single-authors have to be biased, many wait with anticipation at the lastest changes and additions to one of the most powerful anti-Daemon armies Warhammer 40K has to offer.

Getting the Ball Rolling, MTG 2012 Planeswalkers Revealed
Just starting to get the ball rolling on the blog.
First up: Wizards of the Coast has unveiled the Planeswalkers to feature in their Magic: The Gathering 2012 set.
Looks like 2012 will have Gideon, Jace, Chandra, Sorin, and Garruk, featuring one Planeswalker for each color.
I personally am wondering what happened to Liliana, but I guess we'll find out.
